It is true you can only upload up to 5 picture attachments at a time, but you can repeat the process as many times as you want. Old pictures will stay and new ones will be added to the list.

I found an old post of mine, where I could attach 18 pics (and I was not part of the staff back then) in some hentai discussion thread:

But yeah, there must be a limit ultimately, but I have no clue about it. Some areas may have special restrictions.
