I guess not many people bought the series, so they don't share it on internet or it can be an old series so most links are dead already.

To be honest I also search some JAV but they are not available on internet due no one share it.

Dont bother posting at the Request section...

Most Akiba-Online users are leechers... videos that is posted on this site are mostly videos taken from other sites.

There's a few who can get the videos, but they want to make profit out of it, so yea... it wont be free.

And the request section is full of disappointment, you can see the whole page filled with 0 replies request. Even if there is a reply, it's usualy from some guy telling that he can get the video for you for a fee.

Firstly there are dozens of reasons that any DVD would have not been shared online. Some have been posted already and I'm sure you can imagine other reasons too. It doesn't matter who it is or how popular they are. Somethings just don't get shared for some reasons.
If you insist on posting that many DVDs in the request section I will kindly ask that you make a request per DVD. That makes it quite easy to search and find them. All the request needs is a correct Japanese title, DVD code, link to said DVD and preferably a cover image.
I wouldn't agree with small chickens remark that you shouldn't bother with posting your requests. I do agree that most akiba-online users are leeches, while there is a large quantity of things that are taken from other sources there are some members that upload exclusively to akiba. Yes there are some members that live in Japan and can get most DVDs but there is no reason for me to do it for free. Of course I'm going to charge for the service I provide. I'm sure that the axiom "Time is money" fits the situation perfectly. Anyway if your interested in getting any or all of these I believe that I can help.

I read a forum where a pretty reputable user on there said that 90% percent of JAV movies are released on the internet. I don't know if that's true because it certainly doesn't seem that way.

I wonder if JAV movie releases work in the same way as regular movies releases on torrent sites and such, in that it comes from newsgroups, to private trackers/forums and then leeched to the public. Of it is just random people living in Japan buying movies then releasing them on the internet?

My basic question is, how do JAV movies get to the internet? If anyone can shed a light on this I'd be very thankful.
