There are Asian girls in my area who speaks Mandarin, but I do like Japanese too. Somehow there is a prejudice feeling when I think about Mandarin. What should I do? Forget Mandarin and just learn Japanese?

Learn Mandarin! It's a popular language and definitely of use if you ever travel to Asia. But if you're only interested in Japan, then I guess learning Japanese would be the way to go

I do speak mandarin, though I live in South Korea, but I think mandarin is not as important as english, but if your english is good enough, then you can learn mandarin very fast cause mandarin is as great as english.but I suggest you learn english enough for rational.
