Remember a few months back I asked Chompy to add the original post date under each thread title on sub-forum main pages ? And he did. (Thanks Chompy - it's been very useful.)

Now I have a question (and/or suggestion) -

Is it possible to search a sub-forum for threads started within a certain date range ? (regardless of what or when of any responses the threads may have had.)

Yes, but that is done on the advanced search page, and I get stuck on leaving both the 'Search by Keyword' and 'Search by User Name' fields blank.

How would I sort the entire 'U-15 IV Torrents' sub-forum list of threads by thread-start-date (descending) in order to find all the threads that were started after I went on a 7 week sabatical ?

Like this.

Thank you, Chompy, for the personal attention ...

... but, as I was saying

Why are you on the search page? I don't understand what it is you're trying to achieve on the search page that cannot be achieved on the forumdisplay page...

If you're not using any search keywords, then you don't need to do a search.

You can just go to the forum page itself (http://www.akiba-online.com/forum/forumdisplay.php?f=149) and sort the threads using the options at the bottom of the page.

Unless I am missing something...

My dear Chompy -

Oh my god. Okay. I feel like an idiot. That's okay. I don't mind. Truthfully, I never made it quite that far down the page.

Mission accomplished. Lesson learned. Thank you so much. Really, I didn't know. I'm sorry if I pestered you, but thank you for taking the time to answer even a stupid question.

Yeah, I just looked at it. Cool. That's exactly what I was looking for.
Thanks again.

Happy to help.
