R18.com has released its child site https://lite.r18.com/

This is a monthly subscription site for only 540 JPY/month (~4.7USD) with 2000 movies getting renewed every month.
This site is all in HTML5 with no DRM so it does not need to install any additional player.

Many of you have been requesting to make the movies available in HTML5 so this is our first implementation of the HTML5 player. We hop to apply this to the main site R18.com in the next few months.

congratulations on releasing Lite

It seems odd not to have any kind of search engine and the only way to weed out anything is official tags, which are often dubious.

What about content? Do you plan to add movies (and how much how fast) or just replace the whole batch every so often?

Is file bitrate equal to 6mbps on DRM movies for high-definition videos?

Just curious, when you do apply the HTML5 player to the main site, that's not going to affect the other offerings, is it? Downloads will still be available for higher quality?

Sure. HTML5 just apply to streaming.
Donwload will remain as it is.

Thank you for your comment.
We are going to keep improving LITE during next months. Search engine, actress list etc are some of the next improvements that will be released.

There are around 80~100 updates every month. The content is getting updated everyday.

Yes, you can see the bitrate for each movie on R18.com clicking in the "supported devices" icon.
