It's devastating news for me since I bought several vids from R18. It think prestige will sell their vids in www.mgstage.com only now? I want to bought their videos but currently mgstage didn't have english/international site. Affected studios in Video floor: Prestige, Lustrous, MAD, GALLOP, KANBi, DOC, MBM.

The videos you purchases from PRESTIGE in R18.com will be still available in your library to watch. Your purchase PRESTIGE content will still be available for you to watch.

What's the reason for this? Is it something Prestige decided or R18?

Any news about what is happening with Prestige? They haven't released any VR movie on march...

I believe Prestige wants to only sell their wares online via MGStage. It's a risky endeavor; I think doing something like Faleno where the first month or so is only on their site before moving to DMM and others is safer. Their content, their decision though.

Per VR, they stopped but it's possible they may start again. We (SLR) are going to start showing their older movies soon and may be in production talks in the near future as well.

I don't mind to buy at any store (A Festa, SLR, R18) if I can download to a PC. I am not going to pay for streaming.

I have bought almost all VR titles from Prestige at A Festa VR because I can download without DRM and play with a PC player because I need a profesional player (Whirligig, Virtual Home Threater) to adjust the image to my IPD (DeoVR Player, Skybox or SLR app don't work for me, I see the girls like giants even using the zoom).

If Prestige doesn't want my money anymore... Well... :( I have spent hundreds of euros in Prestige VR titles... And I am not joking...

I hope some day SLR sells JAV VR with a download to a PC, like A Festa VR. I would buy a lot of titles, even if there are "free" download sites like Akiba. I like to pay for what I use. But no streaming, it is smoke. It needs to download everytime I watch porn, stores and Internet providers know every time I watch porn ,what I watch,, when... Streaming it is not for porn, it is a private and intimate activity, I don't want to be online and tracked everytime I watch porn...

We REALLY want to allow DRM-free downloading of JAV VR at SLR because as we all know, DRM is near pointless especially when the same movies are pirated almost on day one. Trust me, we have asked and asked and will continue to. I suggest you regularly contact studios telling them you love their works, love that it's on SLR, but you really want to be able to download it (simple English is fine).

This is exactly my point. I don't understand DRM when the movies are "free" almost the next day. There are a lot of people that want to pay for the content, even if it is available for "free".

I spend 50 or 60 euros monthly in JAV VR at A Festa VR even if I can download it for free the next day. Companies and stores are losing this type of client.

I would love to buy JAV VR at SLR, buy I need to download. With the SLR app I see the girls like giants, even with zoom. The player needs options to adjust the diameter of the image and the IPD. PC Apps like Whirligig and Virtual Home Theater have them and I can correct the size of the girls without using the zoom. And a sharpen option would be awesome... ;)

What I don't understand is why A Festa VR can sell JAV VR without DRM but SLR can´t.... Because you are a USA company??

I passed your player feedback along, Walle12.

For Afesta, may you tell me which studios allow Afesta to sell DRM-free downloads of their VR movies? It's possible we have already for them on SLR (there's a few JAV studios that let us do this).

Well, all titles that A Festa VR sells are DRM-free.... KMP, Soft of Demand, Prestige, Crystal VR, WAAP, Dandy and more... And yes, SLR has some of them, but only in streaming... The SoD ones, for example...

Can you confirm that if you buy a movie from any of those studios right now that their new releases are also DRM free?
Like a new release from SOD or KMP.

I heard back and Afesta should NOT be offering anything DRM-free anymore. Early on they did b/c there was no other options for the studios. If they're still offering DRM-free, it's probably a bug or an oversight.

The SERIES I like most at PRESTIGE studios is Memorial Planning Cuckold Photo and the last one was released on 1 JAN 2021 with the DOCP 268 code. Usually they release a new video of this series every 4 or 5 months approximately.

AND NOW WHERE CAN I FOLLOW UP THE NEW SERIES LAUNCHES? I ASK AS ON THE R18.COM SITE IT DOES NOT APPEAR ANY TITLE MORE FROM THE STUDIO IN THE RESEARCH BAR.

PK Atomsk brings up a good point: If Prestige is pulling their wares from R18 and is not offering an easy way for foreigners/non Japanese speakers to legally purchase the content, then they're shooting themselves in the foot. I can see reasons why they would want to pull their movies from DMM, but also from R18 seems short-sighted (unless contractually they HAD to have their works on both sites or none and the money they were making from R18 wasn't enough to matter). I know some Japanese studios from time to time try to enter the foreign market on their own, but usually fail for various reasons (biggest is basically b/c most studios focus on producing and don't know much about distributing compounded by lack of knowledge on how to best sell to foreigners).
