The problem: people don't read stickies.

Part of the problem: people know that stickies are stickies because they see a special image, the word "Sticky" to the left of the thread title, or both.

Proposed solution: make it so that stickies no longer look any different at all from regular threads.

Why: if you're an old member, you view the thread once and you don't have to worry about viewing it again until somebody posts something new in it. Same old, same old. If you're a new member, you can't tell where the stickies end and the real threads begin anymore. So your default behavior will be to just start from the top and work your way down. Because there is nothing to tip you off that the thread is a boring rules-thread for you to skip reading until the day you feel like it -- a day which will never come. ;p
