If you have the moolah (money).. Why not?
If the you are (or the family) is short in cash.. Then consider saving up for more important things..

Christmas is something that should be celebrated with your love one... Boy and girl's day...
Sad to say I still have no girl, so,:miserable:Christmas is not for me...

Depends on why you are celebrating Christmas

If you're celebrating Mr. Jesus' birthday, then it's down to you and what you feel is appropriate.

To me, an extravagant Christmas is not something that I would ever consider necessary. If Jesus really is still alive somehow, then I really doubt he would be more impressed by a bigger Christmas budget. I would like to think that he is happier when we actually remember that it is his birthday we're supposed to be celebrating.

But if you're just celebrating Christmas because of it's traditions, well then I really don't give a fuck what you do....

I feel if you thing someone really deserve your gratitude for something then spend a little cash, otherwise, a simple gesture like a card is fine.

Or you could just not celebrate it and avoid the whole question altogether.

Christmas is geared far too much towards commercialism and the pressure on parents to buy their kids the most fashionable/expensive gifts. The true meaning of Christmas seems to have disappeared and most people see it has a time to have a few days holiday, get drunk and over indulge.

bah humbug!
