I've been stuck at 99.9% for days now. It claims there are seeds, but it's not completing.

The mp4 is at 99.9% for me. It claims there's a bunch of peers but they never connect.

When I check the torrent I see the tracker isn't connecting because it's an unregistered torrent. It only sees the peers through peer exchange. Maybe that's what is causing the problem?

That's the tracker that says "Failure: Unregistered torrent" for me. Don't bother with making another torrent file for me, the 99.9% file plays fine (though there'll probably be a small hiccup when it gets to that missing 0.1%).

This would happen semi-frequently with Hipnip' s torrents. Believe when he was seeding a number of torrents from a laptop that would only periodically be connected to the net.

Note: there are 2 torrents provided. The first one, without the jpg's, hangs, with torrent not registered on http://open.nyaatorrents.info:6544/announce
The 2nd torrent file, the one with the jpg's, is registered and does complete.

So use the 2nd torrent, point it to use the same directory as the first torrent, and force a recheck to save from re-downloading the 99.9# you already have. (In utorrent, use Advanced->Set Download Location, then Force Recheck, then start the torrent.)

the seed peer ratio shows a 20/300 but that's not so unusual - however it has been stuck on 2mb down out of 1780mb for 4 days. It also has shown 0.999 avail for several days. It could be the seeder doesn't have the jpg - to untick the jpg sometimes lets the download complete.

I got the other torrent file and had no problems completing the download. So if people are stuck, switch to the other file.

OK, this is odd. Where is the "other" file coming from? The one posted here or the one at NYAA? I think I will replace the one here with the one from NYAA just to be certain they match.

The original post had 2 torrents, one with jpgs, one without.
