Motivation to learn Japanese?

Is there any good motivation to learn a new language? Have you ever give up halfway just to learn a language?

You have to make your own motivation. It's a personal thing. Learning languages is long and hard (and can be expensive), but if you're motivated enough to make the effort, the pay off is well worth it.
