Just was wonderin' with this one, no driving need.

I was performing some research for Incest - Aunt's Half-Exposed Ass [SPRD 544] with Yukari Kirishima (screen shots), winding up on the IncestJAV site, invaluable for their thumbnails. But they goofed up big time with this one, because their thumbs were for another movie.

As I looked at the pictures, my curiosity got stirred. What the speck is this movie about?

Looks like they are doing a take-off on those "dating" shows, perhaps.... (Thus the choice of word for my headline; see, at least in my area there are TV commercials for a dating web site called "Christian Mingles," see, and...)

So we get three couples, and in all of them the men get lucky. How do you like that, for first date odds. Meanwhile, the rest of us struggle to at least get to first base, although the chances are we'll remain on the home plate.

First episode features this chipmunk:

Next, a classy lady who seems to be on the serious side:

And then we have a lamb who looks a bit wet-behind-the-ears, you know, lost-in-the-woods... and... UH-OH!

She had the bad luck to go out with the Tenant!

Well, we know for sure how that episode is going to end. Yet, lucky for her, Tenant appears to be exhibiting his rare "romantic" side. Still, the poor sweet thing simply was going to stand no chance, porn script or no porn script.

So what do you make of this one, troopers?

Perhaps a clue may be that this movie was confused with another TAKARA VISUAL "SPRD" film... but perhaps not.

A quick crop and google reverse image search of a few choice thumbnails gave http://www.dmm.co.jp/mono/dvd/-/detail/=/cid=149tmrd544/ as the proper name. Guess they missed out the "SP" and got "RD-544".

I didn't hold out too much hope for this one to be solved, frankly, because aside from recognizing the actresses, there wasn't anything to go on.

You'd be doing everyone (well, everyone who happens by this thread, anyway; and we should not make light of that, because among them will surely be the problem-solvers we are all grateful for, like the amazing Outdoorlife who gave you a much-deserved nod) a colossal favor, if you specified your secret on how you went about the detective work.

I was always of the opinion that "Google Image Search" needed to read some kind of hidden code in an image to go about finding where else on the Internet that image might have been reproduced. But then I realized, what do I know about how "Google Image Search" really works?

Okay; so we go on the basic www.google.com search page, and click on "Images."

There's that little camera icon (followed by a little microphone icon, allowing one to search by voice - something I have never tried), right next to the search button on the right of the search bar. I presume we would need to click on the camera icon.

A window opens when I do so, giving one the option to either "Paste Image URL" or "Upload an image," in order to "Search by Image." We also get the option of an image being dragged and dropped on that window.

I went to my directory and dragged and dropped two of the photos that I used for this post, primarily the one with Tenant sitting with the lady. That didn't come up with anything useful, nor did an attempt with one of the close ups of the other women.

So what did you do exactly? You mentioned that you cropped some of the choice thumbnail frames, and presumably put those cropped images into the search bar the way I just described... but since I didn't come up with anything with the two I tried with, I'd imagine one would need to get really lucky before hitting paydirt, with any of these frames. (How were you able to determine which images would have the best shot for success?)

At any rate, thank you so much again. This is really mind-blowing, and the process can open many more investigative doors in the future, with a little guidance from you.

I seem to have caused some misunderstandings with my post. What I meant was that from the image http://www.pixhost.org/show/2814/14945296_sprd-544_ss.jpg, I picked out a few screenshots (what I originally called thumbnails since they were smaller resized screenshots), which seemed likely that someone somewhere would have uploaded to the internet before. (Usually this is done to promote the AV, so pick the sexiest scenes? There's no specific choosing process.) You're right in that this is really a hit or miss technique, and sometimes you may end up trying them all to no avail. However, in this case, I felt that the scenes at 52:44 and 1:26:57 (among others) were likely to give results, so I cropped them out into individual screenshots to search with. Other than that, the rest of your procedure is correct. Trying cropped close-up images usually does nothing though, and this usually works better for newer releases. Older releases, especially those on VHS, don't work so well since the images are harder to come by.
