She's never had much of an hourglass figure really. Straight-hipped poor little thing. For me she's more cute than sexy but that works.

Ok, I'm totally down to see her go nude, but after watching this... I'd rather her become a teacher. I know she kinda put herself there but her intentions were good. And I'd rather see the act of caring of her family rewarded. There's always someone else to fap to.
And yeah, she needs to get paid in residuals for her video releases or something.
i'm with you.. after saw this clip, no nude for sure. i thought she make alot of money, cause of her many dvd release.. and i thought mayumi is tomoe little sister..
hope they make a collaboration video before they retire.. and mayumi get her dream job to be teacher after retired..

I knew the girls didn't make tons of money, but I had no idea it was so little. I didn't watch the video, but I read the subs. It was pretty heartbreaking to read all of that, but I'm fine with whatever her decision ends up being, as long as she is happy in the end. She does have another release slated for 10/25/2019

Looks like they get paid in alcohol in equal amounts as money considering the events they attend. That surely wouldn’t be good for their long term health! I’m not sure if any day care centers would employ her anyway even if she hasn’t gone nude, considering the groping and suggestive scenes in many of her recent videos. It would be difficult to change her identity too as I’m sure some fathers would have seen her videos.

When Mayumi said about she's not even make ¥50,000/month she's not talking about her DVD payout
For 2-3 days shooting for a single IV the studio paid her a lot (compared to what you'll earn with 2-3 days regular office work)
How much she’ll earn for 1 shooting for 1 IV are depend on her popularity, sales record of her previous releases etc, but I’m guessing she’s at least got around ¥3-400,000 one time payout per DVD shooting
The studio have to spend a lot of money to pay the idol, various staffs, accommodation, production cost etc, they have to pay all that months before they start to make profit
Because of all that, the studio usually is the one who have all the right for the material, music and movie industry also have the same system
For example if a singer change record company, new record company can’t just reprint the singer old song without some agreement with old record company
Why is Mayumi didn’t get any commission from her sold IV?
Even Mai Shiraishi need a full year to sold 228,783 copies of her PB, Mayumi is not Mai Shiraishi and apart from her one time payout she’s unlikely to get reprint bonus from her DVD
If Mayumi’s new IV sold out and need some reprint, not only she’ll get some bonus money, she’ll also will have better initial payout next time

I know it's not exactly a straight forward comparison, but in the West, particularly the USA, softcore models can often prosper when working for themselves. There are many that have never done hardcore. They set up their own sites, do webcam shows etc and make an absolute killing after a while. The system and architecture is all in place for them. Or in Korea for example, mokbang-type streamers make big bucks just sitting and talking. But in Japan, because everything seems to be under the umbrella of some studio or tight regulation, Idols don't seem to prosper at all. Very few, if any, ever actually make a real livable wage from their work. Idols seem to be in need of more opportunities to earn income that doesn't involve hostess bars or escort work. Studios constantly selling the pipedream of 'becoming the next J-Pop Idol' to them is disingenuous to be honest.
