Also, the most Popular links are the Hotfile, fileserve links. I tried downloads and found out that Hotfile require captcha?

Since I do NOT have a premium account, it requires me to wait 30 minutes before I could download another file. But before i could start the download, it prompts me for the captcha and if i fail to type it in correctly or before the time limit, the clock resets. Is there anyway to get around the captcha? I cant sit in front of my computer every 25 Minutes.

Also, is there a torrent version of this thread? Torrent is another popular method of downloads also.

Also, I agree that Mediafire is good hosting site. It holds up to 100Mb and you can have unparalleled downloads. The download speed is quite nice too

It wasn't easy for us to upload to these filehost, so to be fair we just make sure it won't be easy for you to download either. But you can always go premium. Filehosts give us a small commission - not much - but enough for us to send our kids to college and pay mortgages to our houses. :joker:

No, I wasn't trying to make anyone suffer. No, filehosts pay us peanuts. Our day job(s) is our primary source of income.

To be honest, ever since learning the speed and stability of Rapidshare 4 or 5 years ago, BitTorrent is dead to me, downloading or seeding. I really hate to seed forever whereas with uploading to filehosts, the "seeding" is passed onto that filehost instead. And the upstream/downstream speed is nothing short of amazing. BT could take days, no thanks to inconsiderate sharers who refuse to release more of their maximum bandwidth.

Mediafire is excellent for downloading but for some reason uploading to MF is ridiculously slow for me. I tested uploading on my [former] business gigabit [lease line] broadband and I could not get more than 100KB/s.

When i first started sharing our stuff in the thread, we share it because we know how hard it is to find the video ^_^

and yes, it is full of fun, and I and many others are racing on sharing it. But sometime we do know people just grab it and doesn't give a damn about us , not even a thanks.

Still we do it on our spare time to split and upload those file, file host doesn't pay us premium but I am doing it for fun and hoping to earn something small to show that it's worth to share with everyone.

During my old days, i never share with anyone because no one is interested!!!

So yea, no matter what filehost it is, at least it is somewhere we know we can definitely grab it (at least i do). Give us some support

Slitevane - there is no possible auto-captcha solution for hotfile, the annoying thing is not only every 20 mins you have to manually type the captcha, but also the cryptic text is sometimes barely possible to read, but remember its not Case-Sensitive.

And if you get words or numbers with commas and hyphens, make sure you enter those exactly how you see it. dont worry too much if you fail the captcha you will get a new one in 60 secs. I think Jdownloader should add the option to "refresh" the captcha like you can do on the (http) Hotfile site.

Everyone should be grateful we did not use Oron for filehosts. Oron makes free users wait as much as 4 hours between each file. 4 hours was the longest I've ever experienced of any hosts. I don't mind paying for premium but I don't pay for cheapskate filehosts like Oron that makes you wait this outrageously long!

Is there any way to bypass the hotfile captcha for JDownloader? I want to be able to set it and and leave my computer on while it downloads everything.

I use something more effective....it's called "premium membership"

Once I'm sick and tired of Hotfile, I might change that to Filesonic. Filesonic has no Captcha...

It's getting there...uploading to Hotfile is slow and it's bad for my health....
