Just ask for refund, I did today, and don't use these sites so these people will learn to not be shady and say "download and own" when it is really DRM files!

I use Adudials 12, and I have a black screen when I try to make a captured screen from the R-Player (and this is not the case with IEC Player)
Does someone uses Audials 2017 and can confirm that screen capture work with the R Player?

Are you using the silverlight r-player or the r-player plus from the app store?

The one from the app store uses the metro thingy which blocks capture from every software by design.

It should work fine if you're using the silverlight based player, but I haven't tested v2017 so I can't say for sure.

    Yes it works! thanks!
But, since it's by streaming, the quality, in 2000 Kbps, are less good than the version I've downloaded before (in 6000 Kbps)... So if someone have an other solution, or have tested with Audials 2017.
I never enjoy the movies I paid for, since their player are so lame

There's also a downloadable version of the silverlight player, just make sure you say you use windows vista/7/8(the browser doesn't matter since you'll get the downloadable version) at the download page and it will give you the choice to download the player if you have silverlight already installed. Don't worry, it works perfectly fine even if you have windows 8.1 and up.

Be warned that capturing from it using software capture will almost certainly result in quite a few dropped/repeated frames. I tried everything I could think of to avoid it and failed.

The only reliable way to capture it would be by using an hardware capture card(which is different from capturing using hardware acceleration with software capture which also doesn't work well) from what I've heard which makes sense since the playback is fine when you're not software capturing. Haven't tested it myself though since my only capture card is very old and very bad(10$ off ebay).

Hardware capture would also work with the plus version since it captures the signal directly so it bypasses the software restrictions.

ok, cool! But, like when with the R-player that I have (but had work in the past), i get the message "Unable to find account" when I want to open a movie file (it doesnt ask me for my e-mail adress and stuff at all), so it's a all new problem....

I'm totally aware of that, but I prefer watch a movie that I bought with a little less quality, than not watching them at almost at all ;)

Thank you very much for your time!

Is that the case even with a video you've never played with any other player on a specific computer? My guess would be that it's not using the right credentials somehow so clearing the cache(not sure where that is) for those credentials should fix it, but if a new video has the same problem, that's not it.

I've just tested with the third part of movie I never seen completely (so, never open the third part) and same result.
And I can't open the R-player with the shortcut in my desktop, I have to select "open with R-player" directly with the file I want to open.
I remember that I complain about that message on the "Discussion about DMM website" in May with no response (even to the e-mail that I sent to R18)... I believe there is a link with Windows 10

So I think I will never buy any movie from R18 anymore...

    Thank you again!

    My methods are as below:
    1) Use R-Player plus (Don't use the Silverlight player because it just drop frame randomly).
    2) Get a capture card (any cheap capture card will do as we're doing lossless capturing, don't use asic hardware encoding card like AVerMedia. Even AVerMedia sometime resulting in drop frames as well base on my experience.)
    3) Why we need capture card? Because screen capture won't work with R-Player plus anymore, as it uses Microsoft newer framework, which protect the stream all the way. So, you need to output your signal into the capture card and capture whatever being output from there.
    4) Use FFmpeg, Dshow and perform a lossless capturing from your capture card signal. Be warned though, the size for 1080p lossless capture is about 80MB / second even after huffyuv lossless compressed. I got a dedicated 2TB drive for this purpose. Remember to set the priority for FFmpeg to real time to prevent frame dropping.
    5) After each capture, then only you perform lossy compression with H264/H265 encoding. At this stage you can use any software you want. For me I still stick to FFmpeg, with H264, veryslow preset. It takes about 12 hours to compress 1 full HD clip on my rig.
    6) I'm still observing the development of hardware compression solution like QuickSync, Nvenc. They are lot faster nowadays but still not quite there yet in term of quality. Give it another few years I foresee their quality is going to catch up with software encoding. Then we can compress 2 hours long full HD clip in just 10 minutes. Until then, we'll have to stick to software encoding.

    1. I can guarantee you r-player plus is a silverlight player because silverlight is the drm used for these videos, r-player plus might be a better player but it's still silverlight...

    2. Getting a capture card is overkill in most cases, I'm not sure about your jerk off tendencies but my dick doesn't go soft when I happen to notice there is a frame missing every now and then.. It's great to get the most perfect capture you can but when that involves so many extra steps, unless you're going to be selling them, if you're making the occasional release to share with your fellow forum friends, using OBS Classic to capture is plenty good.

    4. 80mb/sec is way overkill.. for 1080p I do between 50-60mbps..

    5. Agreed, use any software you want, I use Handbrake, it's just a frontend.. encode as slow as possible, high profile, for 1080p use crf of 20-22, lower is better..

I know you guys like SamKook have a lot more knowledge than me, but I'm just giving advice to casual users..

After trying various solutions for screen capture like camtasia i find out that NVIDIA shadowplay is the best option for recording in Windows 10 for me.
It gives me the BEST quality, the only downside is that you can't save as uncompressed but the quality is extremely good, and you can use any bitrate between 10-130 Mb/s which is already quite good. You can record at either 30 FPS or 60 FPS.
Also you don't have to re-encode again and even at 10 Mb the result is exceptionally good, i get 0 dropped frames and the recording is not laggy as most of the video's you find online are.

Best is that its totally free BUT you need a good NVIDIA graphics card. I have a GTX 1080, Intel 4770k and 16 GB RAM. I capture to a seagate 4 TB surveillance HDD which is more then 80% free.
Too bad my upload speed is only 1 Mbit otherwise i would have gladly posted some of my videos here.
