New Year's is just one of those holidays I've never understood nor particularly want to understand. I'm the sort of guy who thinks 18 is an arbitrary age of adulthood, 21 is an arbitrary age of alcohol use, and January is an arbitrary month to kick off a new year. January 1 being so closely positioned to the best damn holiday of the entire year (Christmas) doesn't help matters, either.
So! With all of that negativity out of the way ;p , good-bye 2008, hello 16 days of scribbling out "2008" on all of my bills, and then a proper hello to writing down "2009" on them!
Seriously, though, here's hoping to a great new year for Akiba-Online, and for those of you who enjoy the New Year's festivities, best wishes for a very happy and safe New Year's celebration to you all.
