Chakuero videos are a lot more toned down then they used to be. The mosaics used for the censorship has become a lot more blurry over the years. A lot of the older niche extreme genre are flat out gone.
I don't think the pandemic ending will change anything, this trend has been going on for a while now. The Olympics probably did more damage then corona ever will. Plus, there is so much more outside eyes on Japan now then before and if you have been paying attention elsewhere, other countries, mostly western, have been pressuring Japan to change to their standards of "decency".
