Do they lie about ages both ways, IE actress is actual younger/older?

I’ve seen some vids that claim the idol is like 14, or vaguely implies that they are, but the idol’s fairly well documented and turns out to be 18. This is especially reassuring when they do things that are so lewd that you’re how they got away with it.

I was looking into an idol who I couldn’t find a very legitimate looking webpage for. Most covers say she was born in 1997, I found one that said ‘96, and I think one that said ‘95. I’d assume the older one is always right, but do they ever lie about the actress being older than she actually is?

Well, I think they could be lying. Or maybe it's just a mistake.
I'm curious about this: how can I accurately determine a model's age? Personally, I first look at the date of the photo shoot or video. Then I check the model's date of birth. That's how I determine their age.
For example, the file properties say "Shooting date: June 11, 2012." The model's date of birth is March 24, 1996. This means she was 16 years old at the time of the photo shoot.
My question is: how accurate can this age determination be?
