Okay, I will paint it for you .

If i want to search for SNIS-158, I should be able to just find what im looking for by just typing SNIS-158 or SNIS158.

I shouldnt have to type SNIS-00158

@shinigamie The search has never worked that way so I am not sure what you mean by fixing it from the DMM version. If you search for those terms on DMM.co.jp they come up with nothing. There are other items that are "closely related" to the search term you entered, which happen to be physical DVD's which we don't offer on R18.com and therefore you don't see those as alternative items that pop up when running a search. SNIS-158 and SNIS158 are not the official codes for this item. You can however additionally search for "snis 158" which will show up. I'm not sure why the community has adopted using a hyphen between numbers and letters in the codes as that is not how the items are organized on our site. I did bring your issue up to systems though, but it may be a slippery slope allowing the search to include the ability to search for those items in the way you have listed... by that I mean, we don't want to return too many unrelated results in your search. You seem like a clever guy though that knows how to search for what he wants, so it doesn't seem to be that big an issue ;)

Captain Bondage, dont u fucking piss in a cup and try to tell me its Apple juice.

If you search snis158 or snis-158 on the japanese one, you get both the physical and the digital versions of it for the results.

Dont you sit there in your chair and mock me, I will break YOU  I cant find a different emoticon to express the angry face, so that will have to do.

shinigamie, when I search DMM for what you say I get these:

"snis158"に一致する商品は見つかりませんでした。 検索のヒント
products matching "snis158" not found. Search tips

"snis-158"に一致する商品は見つかりませんでした。 検索のヒント
SNIS-158 "to the matching items were found. Search tips

Of course, I can't get to the mono section from where I am, is that where you're searching from? I'm only searching in the digital section.

And would you mind terribly if I mocked you while standing, Ivan Drago? Haha! You know I'm joshing with you, bro.

Captain Bondage, I have a question about the article numbers of DMM:

I often recognize that there is a the same article, but with different article numbers:
http://www.dmm.co.jp/mono/dvd/-/detail/=/cid=snis164/
http://www.dmm.co.jp/mono/dvd/-/detail/=/cid=tksnis164/

What does that "tk" means? What is the difference between the normal article and the "tk" article? Could you please she some light on this?

The "tk" article has "【数量限定】" (limited edition) in the title. Is that the difference? Are "tk" articles always limited editions which have some extras (in this case 3 photos of the actress)?

I search it right on the front page of DMM. I get the full legit japanese DMM, access to everything. I have no idea how you arent getting any results whatsoever.

This is why its baffling to me that Captain bondage has the audacity to tell me u get no results at all.

And yes I will break him.

LOL... We had a giggle over that piss and apple juice comment here in the office. :D

Right so before my public Bane style back breaking occurs by an angry porn fan, let's see if I can't get to the bottom of this.
Can you post what you are actually seeing when you say are receiving results from that search? You may say you get the full legit DMM access to everything, but I highly doubt you have more access than me (being that I am sitting INSIDE the DMM offices right now.) Any results you are getting are going to point to the physical DVD items which we do not offer on R18.com and hence would not bring anything up.

For example: ON DMM.co.jp
7mdyd676 & 7mdyd-676 would both point to the DVD only.
mdyd00676 points to the digital download, 1-yen video, Monthly channel, DVD & DVD outlet.

On R18.com
7mdyd676 & 7mdyd-676 Point to nothing as we don't sell physical goods.
mdyd00676 points to the digital download only.

So if I am understand you correctly, you want 7mdyd676 & 7mdyd-676 to point not only to the DVD's but to the digital download as well. Annnnnnnnnd I'm here to tell you, that's not going to happen.
Nice idea though!

When I search, on the search bar, at the top of DMM.co.jp, when all I input is snis158, I get these search results back, I get the same results when searching with snis-158 I get the digital and the physical and the rental.
Dont U TELL ME U GET NOTHING.

Me thinks u are leading people on

U compared to me, u are but a piece of dust on my shoe.

Umm those are not digital rentals. Those are DVD's like I said in my previous post.

Those are the same results you get when you type snis-158. Not sure if you can read Japanese or not but if you look at the grey words underneath each title it tells you what it is.
DVDレンタル = DVD Rental
通販 physical goods

If it was a digital download it would say, 動画

Wow you are right.

I saw the option for the digital version on one of them, but didnt realize they all had the link to direct u to the digital version. I must conceded to this part.

But I still dont understand why we cant use the parameters wihtout adding the extra 00 to see search for a title on R18.com since it doesnt even sell physical copies.

I get why they use that on DMM.co.jp , to seperate the physical from digital.

But theres no point of it on R18.com

Since R18.com doesnt sell physical copies, then I should be able to search for whatever movie using the code thats on the box of the movie.

Give me what I want.

Of course I am right. ;)

The movie code on the box of the movie is the code for the physical DVD because it is a box. If we offer physical DVD's in the future then that particular code will be relevant. It's a tricky situation but I do see what you are saying, it's come up in our meetings before, but it won't be a change coming to the site very soon. There are a lot of services we still plan to bring to R18.com before we can get to that issue.

Thanks for the heads up though!

Captain Bondage, I noticed R.18.com does not currently offer any title from km-produce (REAL, Million etc). Any plan to make them available soon? Thanks

Guys is there a new method to visit DMM site? I live in SE Asia and I can't access their site even I'm using the Adblock and Stylish methods you guys posted earlier.

I'm getting this...

Hm, that is interesting. I never got that message. Which address did you tried to open? http://www.dmm.co.jp/? Or maybe a more specific one? Where you redirected to that message (means did the address in your browser chance)? And if what to which address were you redirected?

We are working to get all the publishers onto R18.com and are in constant contact and negociations with them to bring their content overseas. Unfortunately, I can't give you a specific date when that will happen.

so that's why recent r18 entry don't have preview video but only handful ones do. and yes it's kinda hard to convinced the publishers to bring their content overseas. But if you can't give a specific date when that will happen, can you give a guess to us: can the negotiation with the publishers be done before 2015?

Sorry for the late reply, there has been a nationwide blackout here. :(

Address I tried to open: www.dmm.co.jp
Redirected to: http://www.dmm.co.jp/top/-/error/area/

Once I go to dmm.co.jp my browser auto-redirects to the error area.

I got that error, too, before I installed the plug-ins in my Mozilla Firefox browser and set them up like described somewhere in this thread. Since then it is working perfectly.

Maybe you can describe which browser you use, which plug-ins you installed from the ones described here and how you configured them.
