Yes, I don't access that site from a DoCoMo or SoftBank connection (even if I want to - I'm not living in Japan and therefore don't get a contract with these companies). But I never did before and it worked all the time perfectly.

That site is a great source of information for me.
 
I tried it using Firefox 20.0.1 and Internet Explorer 10 on Windows 7.
And I also used my Galaxy S3 with Android 4.1.2 build-in browser. Same result - doesn't work.
 
Hm, that's odd. I tried it again and now it works again.
But I also tried it after Casshern2 posted. And at that time it definitely didn't work.

Also it didn't work only one time in my case. It worked all the time before and also since then. I don't know what the problem was. Maybe the project owners played with the configuration of their Wiki. :dunno:

But it's definitely helpful for people you never were able to access it or maybe have problems to access it from time to time.

First DMM, now sougouwiki? Are japanese site starting to block foreign user because of too much JAV piracy?

I also got this problem today, several weeks ago I can still access it. Although I can still access it using a web proxy, I guess they only block several countries.

UPDATE:
I just logged out from sougouwiki, and now I can access the site. Weird, huh? It seems the site only block user who log in.

i sometimes get the same screen when trying to access sougouwiki.

i found it was the mobile page.

i clicked the PC link at the bottm of the page and it directs me to the normal site
 
Okay, I revive that thread here with another problem: Since a few days I can't use the search at Sougouwiki. I mean I can type in something and press the button, but I never get results. Even if I'm 100% sure there should be some. My current work around is using Google like this (in this case I want to look for 結城みさ):

I just entered 鈴木環季 in the search box and it gave me two results. Seems to work for me.

Now it's working for me again, too. So I guess their full-text search is working again. If I entered the name of an actress (which is also the key of her article) it also worked. Only the full-text search didn't work (also movie codes didn't). And it wasn't the first time. :(
Maybe you, Electromog, are on of the guys running that site and fixed as you read my post. ;) That would also explain why you're so good at identifying actresses. :P
