can't see unread threads in bold

why can't i see the title in bold on certain forums with new threads or threads that have a new post?

Have you modified your user preferences at all? Do the page icons next to the threads still register properly?

Hard to say, honestly. Can anyone more knowledgeable weigh in on this? uzzled:

i have not modified my preferences. page icons still register properly

it's old threads i've never been on that i can't view in bold. new threads appear bold

I believe that after a certain amount of time after the last post, the forum doesn't consider a thread "new" and it won't show up as bold for anyone.

If its older threads that you haven't looked at that are not showing up as bold, that's totally normal.
