I´ve made my decisions now, although it might not exactly be what you all expected...

My favorite h-anime of 2008 is Tokubetsu Byoutou 特別病棟 (mostly ep. 2 - released 03-24-2008).

Favorite scenes I´ve got 2 and cannot decide which one:

Stupid answer: I use VLC's Screencap feature. In before "VLC!? THAT'S AWFUL! USE [insert program I lack the time to learn how to use]." As for the version, I'm using 0.9.6.Grishenko, a customized version of one of their 0.9.6 releases which corrects the broken subtitles issues VLC's latest updates have been plagued by.

How to take screenshots with Media Player Classic

It will likely involve changing settings first. The default CCCP settings use the overlay mixer for output for a number of reasons, but that unfortunately disables screenshots. We didn't do this because we're evil, really - it's better. While it's possible to take screenshots with MPC, we recommend using ffdshow's grab function instead. If you really need to do it in MPC, here's how to do it anyway:

* Start MPC and go into the options dialogue. Choose "Output".
* Under "DirectShow Video", there are a number of alternatives. Note that "Overlay Mixer" is chosen by default. Now, if you're using Windows XP, choose the "VMR7 (windowed)" alternative and press OK. If you're using Windows 2000, then use "VMR9 (windowed)" instead. But BE WARNED: VMR9 is buggier than overlay. Common VMR9 problems include, but are not limited to, the video getting a green tint, or blacks -> greys.
* Now use File -> Save Image... (or Alt+Print screen and pasting into Paint or the picture editor of your choice) to take as many screenshots as you like. Alternatively, you can go into View -> Options... -> Keys and assign it a hotkey.
* When you're finished, go back to View -> Options... -> Output and put the renderer back to "Overlay Mixer" if you like.

Just run the video using VLC, when you´ve got the correct point for your screenshot press PAUSE, then go to menu line on top, choose video, there you can see "snapshot" (if my translation is correct), the pic is saved as a PNG-file in your "own pictures" folder. so it´s rather big, you can open it with paint to save it as a JPG, which has a smaller size.

hm...i'm using CCCP as well and there are no probs. perhaps u hav other codecs installed, so uninstall everything then just install CCCP by itself

CCCP codec pack has nothing to do with this problem.
