I am thinking of archiving Kana Yume's blog.
Originally, I thought of just saving the images, but I like the posts it comes with.

However, once she retires and the blog is deleted, will I still be able to view the images and read the posts from when I saved the webpage via simple "save as"?

Yes so long as you choose the type to save all files and not just the HTML.

You can also try using something like HTTrack if you want to archive the entire blog, assuming it's large. I'm not sure what her blog is but you'll just put her main url, ex. blogname.jp/kanayume or whatever her blog name is.

I've had good luck with it archiving a couple movie info sites for covers and original information. Formatting won't be perfect but it's been a very useful tool for me.
