According to playno1, her agent had began to turn down some jobs with the explicit reason that "she will be retiring". In fact playno1 already mentioned he knows of this a couple months ago but respecting Aki herself, he waited until she announce it formally. Side note: she (supposedly) is a divorced mother so her main reason she performs AV was economic.

Perhaps, but the world is cruel. Too beautiful women have less incentive to work for a better life and too often people (esp. men) betray her and put them in difficult situation and lacking the education and/or street-smart to escape. So sell her attractive looks for a financial solution (or quick-fix). If you believe her back story, then she was a housewife, probably never had a meaningful job, perhaps OL or retail or childcare (kindergarten) for 9 months before entering into a mediocre marriage with some working class.
Well indeed, by default you should take AV actress back story to be just a story. BUT it is not hard to believe her face and figure belongs to an oriental woman 38 years, 11 months and 20 days. Her modest boob size is gravity-resistant. Above-average genes, reasonably healthy lifestyle, and not too much sun, 40 year old Asian woman is very very fuckable. And signs of pregnancy do show on many women but not all.
Just a very unofficial count, she already released 16 new AV's in 2018, more than 2/3 of which are solo titles.

Aki Indeed was a beautiful actress and its sad that she is retiring.
But there are other JAV actress to look out for such as JULIA, Yumi Kazama, Reiko Kobyakawa, Satomi Suzuki, Jessica Kizaki, Yui Hatano, Wataksuki etc...
