    Hi Sam. Do you know how the variables in Whisper; ie "vad_threshold" and "chunk_threshold" affect the resultant Sub?

    vad_threshold is the threshold for VAD... They don't explain it on the silero VAD github page so I'd have to dig into the code or comments to really know, but an educated guess since VAD means Voice Activity Detector would be that it's a threshold for what is a speech and what isn't. I'd guess lowering it detects more potential noise as speech and increasing it means it's more strict about what is speech.

    Whisper seems to be more effective with shorter audio files hence the use of the VAD to split the audio in many chunks, but if you cut it too short, it'll miss the context of the conversation so those options tweak how it gets split.

    P.S. the 420 character limit in here is really annoying.

    People can use any filehost they want pretty much, but filejoker is required so they have to use multiple hosts if they do.

    Having a common filehost from every poster is nice for those who get a subscription since they only need the one and it keeps the forum alive.

    Most people do upload to earn money from the subscriptions though so they focus on filejoker since it benefits them most that way.

    Maybe, but it allowed me to test getting links when there's more than 50 links more recent than them which my scripts didn't handle for some host on default settings. Don't think I ever tried changing the settings before to allow for more but it worked thankfully, would have been a pain to do manually.

    I'm not really aware if there's been any development since but last I checked, it wasn't possible to software screen capture(with any software) if you use a metro app(from the windows 8+ app store) and capturing from the non-metro players pretty much always resulted in a choppy capture(missing/repeating frames).

    One failproof method of capturing would be to use a hardware capture card since that will capture the signal which means it'll pick up exactly what you see on the screen no matter what.

    btw - you ever use javmi.com? Very good source for rezu vids -- usually, but not always in full HD -- with the huge plus of Mega links. Downside is that the Mega (and other inks) are usually gone within 24-48 hrs. And there's a lot to wade through if you don't レズ-search.

    Yeah, unless you don't download more than 3 files a week, 1fichier is not very good anymore.

    I'll add it to my places to check, but I don't download much other than iso these days other than to complete existing collections.

    1fichier.com links are suddenly being blocked?

    NIS is saying "dangerous website". Seems maybe only a day old, certainly wasn't encountering the block while d'lding movies two days ago...

    Anything on your end?

    Could be a bad ad got on the website and that initiated the block. These things usually resolve themselves fairly fast.

    I pretty much only use jdownloader2 for the links and block most scripts/ads in my browser so I don't really notice these things.
