Well, Here we are. I can't believe Igot it done. I apologize that I got lazy and stopped removing the srt's that got so little translation that they are only a few bytes.There's several reasons for that but I'll spare you the details.Ultimately most of these are , by my level of “acceptable”results. I will explore new technology and if I can find a superior product perhaps I will do this all again. Given that for most of the zips I had removed the too-small .srts there is a total of 20,600 srts. With luck you will need all 20,600 Please enjoy.

Oh, one last thing re the srts. I did these specifically for the kids at AKIBA. Since I've been on the site I have found everyone very helpful and particularly helpful with identification. This is what motivated me to 'give back' So, if anyone wants to repackage these, re upload them elsewhere, edit them, claim them as your own, sell them, it doesn't matter to me. I lay no claim to them, they are yours to do with them as you wish. and lastly, to all of the members of AKIBA who offer information or help in a myriad of subjects. Thank you!

Yeah, a labor of love. I can't say that i didn't gain too but truth is that I likely would only have done subs for a very small percentage, maybe a couple of hundred, of these if it were just for me. Thanks for the feedback.

The default model for Japanese is large-v3-turbo, and for English large-v2.
When using the mode balanced and fast in version 1.1 the audio is normalised and then segmented into scenes based on energy level prior to passing each segment to VAD. This helps VAD + Whisper to produce more accurate timestamp and transcription.

You had a lot to do with my completing this as you know. I was contemplaing saying fuck it way back at the letter "D" so if anyone in the crowd has found these to be useful you have ImScully to thank. Incidentally I appreciate a lot of you showing your appreciation. It was a bit of a pain-in-the-ass job, especially all of the early tweaking and restarting the entire thing from scratch, so thanks all, especially ImScully for keeping me motivated. Cheers.

  4. Both transcription versions were AI translated using DeepSeek v3 0324.
  5. The "best" translation of each line from the two versions was used in the final translation.
I don't speak nor read Japanese so there are certain to be lots of mistakes.
It'd be extra-shiny if mistakes could be pointed out or corrected.

Apart from the fact that Deepseek seems to 'change' certain words (♪ that area♪, ♪ down there♪) I did find cum and dick. Anyway, thank you. One request: could you post in srt format instead of vtt in future? I have to convert the files in Subtitle Edit in order to see what's inside. Since vtt doesn't have line numbers, Aegisub won't open them. Thank you again.

I saw the “down there” line and actually assumed that was a correct translation - because DeepSeek doesn’t usually have a problem with explicit language.

I like vtt because it allows formatting and alignment. I like to use italics for onscreen captions and align them roughly correctly. But I’ll post both formats in future.
