GOPJ-422, what a waste of Himekawa Yuna. Full clothes all the film, you don't see her beautiful skin, camera so far away... Very low quality film with mediocre image quality and giant girls, as always with GOPJ label... GOPJ, TPVR, CACA and CAFR, the worst VR labels in my opinion.

Does anyone know what happened with Prestige? They were releasing VR titles until mid-2019 under the label PRDVR, but suddenly they stopped.
I miss so much their exclusive girls, specially the stunning Suzumori Remu (this PRDVR-044 is pure gold):
She has another one, PRDVR-046.
And Nagase Minamo. This is PRDVR-040:

I have notice a worrying problem with JAV VR releases of 2020.
The image quality is going down and down. Maybe with a smartphone is less visible, but with PC VR with good resolution glasses, most of the JAV VR releases of 2020 are blurrier than the same labels in 2019.
I have discover it "by eye", noticing less definition, so I have checked the data and it its true: most of 2019 releases have 30 Mbps of bitrate, and the 2020 releases from the same labels have 20 / 22 Mbps of bitrate. The same with the sound, from 320 kbps to 128 kbps.
I have checked titles from KVR, CRVR, ATVR, and all have less bitrate.
I don't know who is the guilty, if the official release or the people who "distribute" it, but the lower image quality is very visible, and it is very frustrating. The last KVR and CRVR are mediocre and the ATVR-032 looks really bad.
VR needs the best image quality to create the illusion it is "real". With the actual bitrate this is not VR, it is a blurry video in 3D.

If you can buy a title from the source, you'll find out pretty quick who is guilty, I would imagine. Can you give a code to a title with the lowered bitrate, please?
For example, all KVR20xxx (20 is from 2020) have around 29 Mbps of bitrate. All KVR19xxx (from 2019) have 39 Mbs of bitrate.

Then it confirms the CRVR releases from 2020 are worse than 2019, when they used 39 Mbps. It seems it is from the source, if you have checked it. Then it is patethic than the labels are realising titles with worse image quality than 2019...
ATVR-031 here at Akiba from today is 23 Mbps, not 32 Mbps. Let's see what happens with ATVR-032...

Interesting, the girl in JUVR-056 seemed to have a body with the same proportions as about 90% of the women in Japan. Seemed perfectly balanced to me. But, we certainly all have different tastes
Interesting, I haven't noticed a degradation in quality between last year's releases and more recent ones. I went back and looked at 10-20 from last year, and almost every one had a 28-32 Mbps bitrate. The few exceptions were the ones you mentioned. CRVR and ATVR. Personally, I couldn't tell the difference between these and the lower bitrate releases from other studios. You probably notice this more since you're on a PC based headset like the Vive or Oculus Rift. I have an Oculus Go, and an Oculus Quest. I have noticed that certain scenes display somewhat poor quality in the beginning before the actual sex scenes, then they get much better as the girl gets closer, and the scene progresses. I think the studios are making use of variable bitrates to keep file sizes manageable. Maybe they're trying to accommodate the majority of paying customers in Japan where fewer people own PC based VR hardware?
I think you might be thinking about a different studio, possibly VRVR? One could certainly critique VVVR from a tech standpoint, and have many valid points. But, not filming close enough would be a stretch. If anything, some of the scenes are too close, causing scaling issues some might not enjoy. However, I love the fact that it's much more amateurish. Somehow, it seems much more real. I'm rarely ever as convinced the actress is experiencing real orgasms.
There are more exceptions. For example the KVR titles as I said. The 2019 releases use a 40 Mbps bitrate and in 2020 they are at 30 Mbps.
Yes I use Samsung Odyssey Plus on a PC with 400% of supersampling to add extra definition, and the lower bitrate is very visible. Even without too much supersampling is visible. Most of 2020 releases of almost all labels have lower imagy quality than 2019. It is very frustrating.
