hello forumers. I was hoping someone would be okay with taking a little time to help me. I would really appreciate if someone could give me "from the ground up" breakdown on how to use this site. I really appreciate your time and I apologise if this is in the wrong forum. ( I could use naptser but when people starting doing torrents and seeding and bitrates and stuff I never learned with everyone else and got left in the dust )

When it comes to a torrent client I suggest utorrent. However it has become very popular, maybe too popular, so feel free to choose an alternative. When it comes to filesharing keep up to date on the latest news, visit the site torrentfreak, and visit it often. As far as the download sections, they are required to allow for free downloads, though the speed is painfully slow. If you want to go that way, you might seriously consider putting out some money for a premium acccount. It rubs me the wrong way to even suggest that but that is what people do here and most of them aren't a bad bunch (considering they are all sexually frustrated pervs looking for porn). :)

Well, ya know, I never meant to insinuate I wasn't one of those pervs. It is funny how people insist on holding Christians up to higher standards than other people. Drives me fucking batty, that does. If I wasn't a creature that is also filled with desires of the flesh and lust I wouldn't visit here at all. Chompy (and I actually love him dearly) himself told me I would never change this forum from being a porn forum (not his exact words but I forget those and delete this Chomps if I am somehow violating confidence) but I wouldn't change a hair on this forum. It would just be nice if the members got out of their shell and shared a bit more. Life isn't all about finding something to masturbate to.

Talk, share, just be yourselves. Life is too short to care what others think or if they disagree with you. So participate in one of (or more) the non-porn threads and in porn threads. Who really gives a fuck anyways? There are over 7 billion people in this world, so you can say what you want, be who you want, without anyone really giving a fuck at this forum. Just take the risk to be honest without giving away personal details. Why? Because we all need an outlet away from our friends and family. We need to talk to people who don't watch what they say to us, who don't hold back, who are critical or supportive regardless of how we feel.

This forum is what we make of it. We don't have to lie or put on a mask for someone elses benefit. Enjoy what this site has to offer and share a bit of yourself with no expectations as to how you will be recieved. If someone gets to be too annoying or insulting, just add him to your ignore list and go on being who you are. Too bad you can't do that IRL but you can do that here. So be apart of this forum, while you are here. If only for the fuck of it.

Well(and sorry for going offtopic here) people generally have that image of Christians because there are oh so many Christians who insist that they "art holier than thou", purer than you and whatnot.
You're the victim of group association, we humans love to arrange everything and everybody in neat little boxes and those neat little boxes usually gets defined by personal experience or when you lack that, the prevailing public image being spread of and in many cases by that group. Hence the "all Muslims" are terrorists crap, and unfortunately Christians gets equally defined by their own extremists, the Jehovah's Witnesses, Mormons etc. who very often likes to spread that "holier than thou" attitude/image and how you're destined to burn in hell if you don't join their little group and share their values. Personally I think that the Christian tradition of missionary conversion(or whatever it's called) has hurt the image of Christianity a lot because very few people actively wants somebody to "harass" them about joining their religion.
To the detriment of all it always ends up being the extremists that defines the public image of the group, because they're always the ones who are most public and most vocal about their particular cause, all the normal people are happy to plod along in anonymity.

Fucking save me form the ignorant attitudes of others. Sry, not going to go into this and refuse to get into yet another argument. Jehovah Witnesses actually lay claim to one of the oldest of christian religions, dating back to the crucifing of Christ, that is before the Catholic Church and the Reformation. Mormons are an "offshoot" of Chritianity, they use a different Bible. It is part of their religion to reach out to others and knocking on your door isn't harassing you. I tell them thanks but no thanks and have never had a problem. It does not hurt to be polite to others who wish us no harm. As far as actual Mission work goes if you do not actually know what you are talking about then don't criticize it.

The Jewish, Christian and Muslim communities make up around 70% or more of the world population. All three basically worship the same God (albeit in different manners). This is not something to be so dismissive of. These people are the public.

There, you had your say, I had my rebuttal. So let us please end this here and now. This type of conversation here irritates me. If I wanted to talk about my faith I would go to a place where that would be a more welcome and common topic. Akiba-Online does not qualify as that.
