Personally not a big fan of anime (both series and movies), prefer to read manga. But the more memorable ones from the few series I have watched are Baccano, Monster, Full Metal Alchemist, Ouran High School Host Club and Kimi Ga Nozomo Eien. For movies I enjoyed Tekkonkinkreet, Paprika and Summer Wars.
