Also JAV are made-up also they still not as other the top like Western porn. It seems to be more realistic (if you can use the term "realistic" in that genre ;) ).
Also the actresses and actors seems to be more normal. Not every actress looks like she had some plastic surgery (also a few have). And also not all of the actors look like they are in the gym if they don't shoot a scene.
I agree that there is a wider variety of movies. And they have more movies which have some kind of plot or story.

Kawaii ! Yes I know it's a seperate genre, but for me almost all JAV actresses have that cuteness about them that really "rocks my world"

I just find the JAV girls to have a feminine quality that most western girls lack.

If you do compare the two, I think that JAV porn does it for me because the girls are so "real". Apologies for jumping in the middle but just to add my 2 cents, I find the American Asians as lack lustre as their caucasian sisters, so it's not just about the physical appearance.
