What happened to i-jav.com?

Hi, I'm hoping someone can help me. A few weeks ago I "lost" i-jav.com. By that I mean that every time I try to get to the site, I keep getting redirected to google.com. It doesn't matter which PC/laptop/tablet I use or which browser I get kicked back to google.com.

Does anyone know why. I have checked online on the Website Down and they say that the site is up and running. So I'm kind-of stuck here.

Anyone, Help, please.

A week ago, I noticed I-Jav was not coming up; links to specific pages cached in my browser returned 404 pages, and the home page switched to the main Google page. (Which was weird.) I didn't want to jump to conclusions, because good old I-Jav is an institution, and it's one thing for the millions of fly-by-night JAV sites to go (as recently happened when Ryushare was targeted), and another for an old pal to have bought the farm. (Of which there has been a rash lately, such as Adultdailycare and Dload123.) Maybe one of those things, as we've all seen disappearing acts only to later witness a site's magical return.

When I read Ding73ding's comment above, I thought he must have tried I-Jav and all was well again, making him decide to go the kidding route ... so I checked again, and I got the same 404 pages and the Google-redirection for the main page. I'd guess that makes the situation bleaker. If I-Jav has gone up in smoke, that would be sad. I disliked their useless screen shots, but it was always nice to get I-Jav popping up most times I ran searches for movies... sometimes they would come in handy for downloads, too. I will miss them.

Tried it and also got the Google search. That made me curious and I analysed it.

Request of my browser (I deleted the uninteresting lines):
Code:
GET http://i-jav.com/ HTTP/1.1
Host: i-jav.com

Response from the page:

Code:
HTTP/1.1 302 Found
Server: cloudflare-nginx
Date: Sat, 10 May 2014 08:06:49 GMT
Content-Type: text/html; charset=UTF-8

They redirect every call to the Google search. Reason or cause: Unknown.

dload123 still works for me, by the way.

What do you know. I arrived at my dead Dload123 conclusion when an entirely transformed site came up for Western porn, featuring only a few pages; figured someone bought their "brand name" and went in a different direction, like when the local radio station changes hands, going from pop to country.

This should give us hope - as I mentioned before, when something drastic takes place with a site, you wait a while, and things spring back to normal. Silkmaze's positive "Website Down" report, along with the odd Google page redirection are signs that I-Jav may not be permanently done for. I don't feel too optimistic, but let's wait and see.

Since it has been about a month, I suppose I-Jav.com needs to be given up for good. Pity.

It's disconcerting when the ones that have been around forever take a powder.

My real reason for posting is to report another old pal apparently now pulling a vanishing act: Coolsex.biz.

I guess this thread can now be used for news of other disappearing acts.

Both
I-Jav.com and Coolsex.biz result in "renew the domain" type pages, so they are definitely gone. No one responded to Verginello's query, and as I had limited-to-no experience with Javakiba.com, I can't be of much help. That URL redirects to Maxjav.com, so I suppose it's safe to assume Maxjav is the new incarnation, Verginello.

(But just for you, here is a
last, loving look at the now-gone Javakiba.)

The one that also appears to have joined the sands of time... that I'd now like to bring to your attention is:

index.php

Urabon Navigator

It's too soon to tell whether the site is permanently gone, as it's not yet at the stage where the "renew domain"-type page shows up - so this may turn out to be a false report.

Urabon Navigator was not a downloading site, like the others; it was one used for research. U-N was not comprehensive with its data, so I didn't use it often. But the site was in English, and served as one of my first exposures to JAV research, so I will have soft feelings toward it.

As this possibly
last look tells us, the site was started in 1997, and began by focusing on magazines. Its data exceeded 27,000 movies, only a drop in the bucket when we are talking JAV... but they carried useful information for the older movies, in particular, as well as for the talent involved.

I will miss them!
