Pros:
  1. Better chance of getting your USB stick autographed. See, because you probably won't have...physical...well...
  2. You'll be less likely to delete anything because now you'd be destroying a national treasure in that nation.
  3. Best sushi in the world! That's not JAV related, but, hell...you're now in Japan!
Cons:
  1. You'd get turned in by the first JAV star you try to get an autograph on your USB stick and serve 20 years in solitary
  2. You'd end up having to delete everything, your entire collection that took you 13 years to amass
  3. Best sushi in the world! But, not in prison, so...

"You'd get turned in by the first JAV star"

What does that mean?
Japan as a whole has very strict Copyright. If you approach a star, and say "Hey, I have your video I didn't pay for on here, can you sign it", they would most likely turn you in.

I remember when this was first posted, and I just ignored it as another stupid question,

why would you worry about it, and if you are upload it, and download it when you get there, and if you are in Japan, look in the sales and buy cheap hard copies without watermarks

Yeah, I wonder. I might go off it.

I find Asian women quite attractive, and I don't mean just the ones I see in porn; also the ones I see in my town (internationally-known capital with several universities, so many foreign students and expats here). But at the same time I think that attraction or fetish may be exaggerated by the very fact that these women (the ones in porn especially) are distant, unattainable and alien, and therefore perfect vehicles for fantasy.

If I was to live in Japan, being exposed to real Japanese women all the time, I would see their "type" as real people, and that might break the spell a bit. Dunno. It's not like I don't know pornstars are people too, but when consuming porn that realisation does not come into play.

I like to watch Japanese cinema, modern stuff but also classics like Ozu, Naruse or Kurosawa, and I find that this also fills me with duality at times. I might jerk off to some depraved gokkun scene one day and watch a beautiful humanistic Japanese film the next, like two sides of the "Japan" coin in my pocket...
