The Reputation system is off ?

I really love the Reputation System.

I hope this is come back...

It's off, chompy doesn't like it, and no, it's not coming back.

rep system serves no purpose other than a feedback mechanism.

If reputation were reinstated, it would be on a strictly comments-only basis. (i.e. all "points" nulled) but if people want to say thanks, they can just bump the thread or pm their thanks.

reputation is too easily abused to fuel power-struggles and pissing-contests.

Anyway...reputation system is kinda dull after a while, and if a forum gets going with a reputation system, it's hard to take it away. it becomes part of it. I'd prefer to avoid it at this early stage.
