Tears to Tiara is an adult SRPG for the PC. It was published in Japan on April 28, 2005 by Leaf, and operates on Windows 98, ME, 2000, and XP.[1][2] A PlayStation 3 remake, titled Tears to Tiara: Kakan no Daichi is released on July 17, 2008.[3] All the characters have been redrawn in the Playstation 3 release. An anime adaption will be aired in 2009, but it's unconfirmed which character design anime will use.
As a strategy RPG the game will feature turn based combat. Players will have multiple units to control and their characters and enemy A.I. characters will both take turns taking actions. Outside of battle the story is told through 2-D cutscenes.
