东京郊外的一所中学。星期六放学后，在音乐教室里，音乐老师田路节子被三年级学生江川秀雄一群人强奸了。三年级的班主任濑户山通过半开的门，见到了当时的整个经过。濑户山虽然已是有妇之夫，但是却对节子的肉体垂涎三尺，很是妒忌和节子谈恋爱的同事浅井，于是对强奸这件事情视而不见。训导主任影山询问秀雄当日的经过，但是无法得知真相，唯有叹息。秀雄的母亲明子经营着一见汽车修理店。为了答谢濑户山帮助秀雄去掉了证据上的指纹，明子请濑户到高级酒家意表感谢。濑户扬言要将当日的事情公诸于世，以此来威胁明子。结子为了平复情绪，休假去旅游了一段时间。久未上班的节子一回到学校，浅井便出现在她面前，说节子骗了他。节在避开了靠上前来的浅井。外面流传着是节子诱惑了江川的谣言。但是，濑户山也不知道是谁散步了这个谣言。濑户逼问秀雄谣言的出处，得到的答案是“原来音乐教室佐藤美也子也见到了当时的经过。节子的弟弟惠司要影山还个公道，并要求浅井要对她姐姐负责，但是却发现浅井抛弃了节子和美也子搞在了一起。三年级在关西旅行的途中发生大事。江川突然被人劫走并，并被勒索五百万赎金。
另外，在东京，浅井和美也子被人杀了，而在北海道的节子则传来自杀未遂的消息。连续发生的几件事情使得学校陷入一片混乱。惠司去迎接从北海道回来的节子，递上了五百万的现金。在姐姐的询问之下，惠司道出了经过:原来惠司和秀雄联手绑架了江川，侵犯美也子并将她和浅井杀了。以为报了仇的秀雄，反而被濑户山给杀了。神圣的教育场所，却变成的混乱不堪，如同肮脏无底的泥沼一般。事情变得一发不可收拾，恐怖的漩涡在不断扩大......
