《霜花店》讲述的故事发上在高丽时期的王宫里，王（朱镇模饰）少年时期挑选一批男孩担任保镖，这队人马被称为健龙卫，洪林（赵寅成饰）则是队长。王自小喜欢洪林，洪林除了尽心保护王之外，也同样对王有感情，两人同床共枕十余年。然而王一直没生继承人的问题被朝廷里别有用心的大臣当成把柄，于是王妃（宋智孝）必须尽快怀孕。无法喜欢女人的王只好让自己最信任的洪林与王妃同房。洪林与王妃刚开始都很不情愿，没想到几次交欢之后就对对方产生感情，随后时常背着王偷情。当王知道洪林喜欢上王妃之后，绝望、痛心之余变得越发狂暴，于是他与洪林陷入一种由爱到恨的毁灭深渊。最终，王与洪林分别死在了对方的剑下这时，洪林才意识到了自己的真正的心意……
