Lately, it seems that JPTOr's movies (and he does a great job of uploading movies that usually haven't been on the site before so I don't want to seem ungrateful) are split into three parts.
Does anyone know a simple way to join them? I tried renaming them with .001, .002 and .003 so I could use HJSplit to join them but it's not seeing them as split files that need to be joined.

If you're talking about joining the wmv files once you've joined and extracted the downloaded files(seems like a waste of time to do both when you can choose to split the archives directly though), then you need a software to mux them together. A binary join(what hjsplit does) will only produce a mess.

Asfbinwin should be able to do what you want if wmv support files bigger than 4GB(but that doesn't seem to be a problem here), here's how to do it: http://www.akiba-online.com/forum/showthread.php?p=2106126
