Redundant codecs will still not cause any conflicts in ffdshow.
This is because ffdshow only uses one of them at a time.
Which one it uses is up to you.

You are right about the splitters though.
There is redundancy in having multiple of them, but again, which ones it uses is all configurable.

It would help if you gave us a better description of the problem Icchan, because "I can't play the movie, something about it being corrupted or something" doesn't help very much. But it doesn't sounds like a codec problem since you already tried a couple of them and it didn't work.

With the exact error message or a good description of what's happening, I'm sure we would be able to help you.
