If I were the Pope, I would make you a saint. Unfortunately, the only thing I have in common with the Pope is that we both love Japanese lesbian porn.

I dream of a day when all the JAV lesbian films will be uncensored...

The "Re-zu-bian" series by U&K has been great. Apart from those already posted, do you have series no. 20,21,22,.....,to 28; they are great but difficult to find.

Has anyone else had problems playing any of the Re-zu-bian videos after downloading them?

And redflame9999, how do I use the filter?

Slimedog,

This is a long shot, but I had a great DVD once, that I stupidly left on a bus with a load of other stuff. Phone, camera etc all gone, but losing the DVD upset me the most.

It was a JAV lesvian collection. I believe it was called 'Lesbian 4 hours'. It had three scenes with Shyoko Mikami, two of them were really hot. And there were two other amazing scenes, a teacher/student and a nurse/student one which was incredible.

I ordered it from J-List about four years ago. Don't suppose you have it in the collection?

Maginificent thread by the way.

The fddshow codec thing. How do I use it? I just installed it and I STILL can't play the Re-zu-bian avi file properly.

You should download the k-lite codec pack. It has all the audio and video codecs you need. Google it and it will come up under various download sites and it is a free download. There are 3 versions, the middle one ( I think it's called standard) should be fine, just don't get the basic, it's not enough.

When I am missing a codec, I recommend you get the free program called "AFREECODEC VT". You install it, point it to the video file and it will tell you what video/audio codecs you need, and then point you to where to install them from.

Good luck!

k-lite codec pack or cccp pretty much ensures that you can play any and all video files though.

The thing is that k-lite and cccp both install their codecs through ffdshow and eliminates conflicts.
It's certainly not 'safer' to install stuff manually, because the human mind is prone to forget stuff, and you're likely to install conflicting, obsolete or plain bad codecs.
The only codec conflicts you're going to get is because you've installed the wrong stuff or done it wrong.

1st, thanks for the word conflict, that's the word I was searching instead of problem.

2nd, I said that because I've seen it happen on some computers using k-lite codec pack(where I had to disable some codec other than ffdshow installed by k-lite because some avi files didn't work) and I had problems once with cccp, but I don't remember exactly what it was. Unless they reduced the numbers of codec included to only what ffdshow can't support, I'm pretty sure this can still happen in some cases.

I personally think it's 'safer' to start by installing only ffdshow and haali and add others weird codecs when needed because you know there is nothing extra that you don't need that always come in these codec packs and with only 2 things to install + a player, there isn't much to forget. Also, you can install more up-to-date versions when installing manually.

It's my opinion, but I know what I'm doing and can easily fix it when I make a mistake and I know that's not the case for everyone.

These 'extra things you don't need' are the things you'd be forced to go find on the internet and install manually when you do need them.
Also, you still haven't really made it clear exactly what you mean by 'safer'.

You're essentially telling people to do exactly what the codec packs does, but manually and on an as-needed basis.
I certainly wouldn't want to go online and search for codecs every time I need another one.

By safer I mean limiting the chances of conflict. For example, even the basic k-lite codec pack as redundant things in it. It has a MP4 and FLV splitter in addition to haali, but haali already can handle these two formats. It also have directvobsub for subtitles which ffdshow can handle perfectly fine on his own.

And if you take a bigger pack, in addition to the redundant codecs like xvid and divx starting in k-lite full, it will also include codecs for encoding and additional tools to tweak which most people don't even know how to use or will never touch.

Also, there is a big chance that people will take the most complete pack, because they think they will have less problems since it includes so much that it will be able to handle anything.

In most cases, it won't cause any problems, but there are always exceptions and in those times, I always fixed it by removing unnecessary things from codec packs.

If you encounter a video that doesn't work with only ffdshow, there are tools to easily identify the missing codec(like AFREECODEC VT mentionned by slimedog) and a simple google search will tell you where to get it if the software doesn't. But in my experience, I rarely need to install other codecs nowadays. For example the only other one I have installed are: coreavc(because my cpu is not fast enough to use ffdshow for h.264), corevorbis(from 2005, because I use spdif on my old onboard soundcard and in all the vorbis codec I found it's the most compatible with my 5.1 decoder), QTlite and realAlternative(because I always did, but I'm not even sure if I really need them since ffdshow has support for both of them)

But, if I had to choose a codec pack, it would be cccp since it has the least unnecessary things (in my opinion). The only thing I have against it is that it's not enough up-to-date with it's content for my taste and I personally like to have more control over what I'm installing.

This conclude this way too long post of mine. Let us know if you ever find your problem lcchan.

Edit: BTW wwilk, there are 6 different version of k-lite and the only(useful) difference in playback between standard and basic is an additional codec for DVD playback.
