Superb action and fight scenes choreographed by Chiba Shinichi, Sanada Hiroyuki and the JAC, a perfect team well known for other jidaigeki gems like "The Yagyu Conspiracy", "Shogun's Ninja", "Legend of the Eight Samurai" etc.
The conclusion of this wonderful Samurai epic! Set during the Bakumatsu era at the time of the last Tokugawa shogun, with Sonny Chiba playing Hanzo Hattori XV. In fact this is the second portion of the 40 episodes produced for season 4. At the time, the producers elected to break the season 4 (1984) in two and aired the last 13 episodes in 1985 which is known as Season 5.
