Hello people of akiba,

due to some problems with the hardware, we will have to change some components. (one of the php-backend-servers already crashed away)
Since this is the perfect opportunity to upgrade the whole system, i'm going to announce a downtime.

Since we have loads! of small files, this could take up to 24h.

The Downtime will start, as soon as the full backup (that is running atm) will be done.
I think, this will be done in about 2 hours.

The workflow will be s.th. like this:
1) disable the board-access
2) sync the last changes
3) backup the database
4) kill the whole system
5) reinstall the new System (with changed hardware)
6) re-setup the backends and forum
7) upgrade the system-software (optional)
8) opening up the forum
9) starting to rebuild search-index, preview-images, etc
10) done

Done are
1, to 5,
7 (sort of)
8

running atm:
6: loads of attachments are still missing. we are still copying.
9: search-index is rebuild, as i write this; image-caches will be re-enabled, asap the attachments are done transfering.

11: setting up some new versions of caching, since we now have a lot of RAM, which isn't used :)

1) disable the board-access
2) sync the last changes
3) backup the database
4) kill the whole system
5) reinstall the new System (with changed hardware)
6) re-setup the backends and forum
7) upgrade the system-software (optional)
8) opening up the forum
9) starting to rebuild search-index, preview-images, etc
10) done
