Thats why I do all my game and software downloading through rapidshare, cant trace that. Or at least thats what Ive been told.

The problem with torrents is that you're uploading at the same time you are downloading. Uploading is considered distribution which is where the copyright infringement is taking place. This is also what people get sued over for damages.

There's no such thing as "covering your tracks" because in many cases the watching eye is on your ISP's end.
