Y'all can flame me as ignorant if you want but do the Japanese celebrate the same New Year like the Chinese do this Sunday? The Chinese are serious about this celebration. :grassdance:

Hi my friend. In general Japanese people do not celebrate the Chinese New Year. Maybe some elders living in countryside might have a small festive. But not really. I don't know why they don't celebrate. But it is just that they don't do that. Just like Japanese have Christmas but not Easter. Something like this.

Maybe you can post some nice pictures on Chinese New Year if you have over the weekend.

Enjoy.
