Any body confirm? I still extract normal. Please try with 7zip lastest version
A) 7zip is not available on all operating systems.
B) Why should it be necessary to use the absolute latest version?
Rar archive format has been around for ages, and I've been using it successfully for ages.

I managed to get nt.pro3x's archives open, but I had to use a different, more recent, operating system to do it.
In that OS, I was able to get a utility with up-to-the-minute updates.
This is not exactly convenient or ideal.
For future reference, it would be greatly appreciated if archives are made backwards-compatible with OS and application versions dating back to 2009 / 2010 or earlier.
In other words, compatible with "legacy" and even "deprecated" software.
More compatibility is better in my book.
