Maybe she's not even a JAV actress; the cover is from the Shukan Post, Oct. 1 (maybe 2009), and an article from within pinpointed Saori Hara and Maria Ozawa ... but this lady is neither, at least to my eye. Doesn't she look smart, and downright terrific?

On a somewhat related note (and sorry for asking this here), am I allowed to post a photo of a girl who most likely isn't a JAV actress on here or on the gravure idols ID sub-section of the site if I'd like to get her IDed?

Since Schneckenschnabel is a proven genius, I will bow to his conclusion as well... but that does not take away from my amazement that anyone would even have had a clue!

Next question that arises is... who IS Ai Kato? More importantly, has she been in any JAVs?

The page that Schneckenschnabel pointed to has a sort of filmography, I suppose... but I had trouble making sense of it. Excerpts from a translation:

I'm now becoming aware the foregoing was from the first tab, which translates as "TV," so I guess that must be her television work. The second tab is "Movie," and the last is something called "CM."

So she's a regular Japanese actress, then? Yeah, but we wanna know if she has done PORN!

I performed an actress search on DMM and came upon this page.

So that's DMM's crazy English language section which only pops up when one searches for actresses. I hardly have it mastered, but the first link goes to this movie, APD-113, an eight-hour spectacular with a cast of thousands. Clicking on the sixth name in the cast (which is Ai's), brings us to this page, showing no other movie but APD-113... so that was of no help.

The second Ai Kato link goes to this page, which lists four movies. The one where she is not featured among many other actresses is this one, called:

Peeking Wife [MA-155]

The cover points to two actresses, first being Masami Tashiro...



And the second lady (second, meaning bottom of cover. As you may read, she is actually labeled as "Madam No. 1") is "Aiko Kato" ...



They both look similar, or at least the same type of hairstyle fools me into thinking that. Anyway, R18 has a page for this movie, and the link for Aiko Kato goes to the same four movies. Yet looking at the little thumbs, we can see this is a different lady. (Even her first name is different, "Aiko" vs. "Ai," so we went on a little wild goose chase, here.)

I suppose then that it's only the first link pointing to APD-113 that gives us our only lead to Ai Kato, JAV actress. But there is no easy way to figure out what the Ai Kato from that movie looks like.

Our conclusion? Ai Kato must be a non-porno performer, then? (Oh, well...) Does anyone know better?
