Javbus was maybe the best Jav torrent site with good UI and longevity, so I guess this is what the OP is looking for not a database but a good Jav torrent tracker with nice UI (photos and screenshots, etc.)

Anybody know what happened to JAVBus? It was my backup place to go, I was never registered.
It looks like it's Chinese characters now, did it get bought out and turned into a private tracker?

As for similar... I know this isn't ideal,

I use

1. https://www.javlibrary.com/en/ to follow new releases,
   the comments always has direct download usually, RapidGator and FileJoker will have you covered. But usually it only has the SD versions.
   The other downside is direct download links die sooner, so you need to stay on top of what you want.
2. https://sukebei.nyaa.si/ If you want HD copy/paste the title code. It's not a great site format, but there are a lot of active users for a public tracker, so the torrents seem to stick around for a while
3. https://javarchive.com/ will have SD and HD direct downloads

JavDB is by far my favorite torrent site. Also good for making lists of your collection, favoriting movies/actors and for finding movies in a given series. Good advanced search options and generally multiple torrents for any given title.
