Really, zackbumm?

I d'ld the first file from sharingmatrix.com. It took 26-28 minutes for the 150mb file, something like 81kb/s.

Then I was closed out for between 30-45 minutes (didn't carefully note the time of the first few close-outs) and when sharingmatrix.com did let me d'l the 2nd file, there was a five-minute wait.

"faster"? "less time"?

Not in this corner of the world...

(edit: just d'ld one file from oron.com. 101mb in 17m 50sec for a 90kb/sec rate. Now it says to wait 50 minutes. Yeah, right.)

I use Oron too. The average download speed with both hosters is more or less the same (in this corner of the world;-) - it changes up to the time of day. But with 7 files you have 6 times to wait, with 5 files only 4 times. Of course one could change the IP. I can't because I share my WLAN with my neighbour and IP-changing may kill one of her downloads, chats or skype calls. And some people doesn't even know how to change the IP.

I hear you...

It's just that when I read your first post I was hoping that there would be a night-and-day, Megaupload vs. Rapidshare kind-of-difference between the two hosts.

But that's life on the interweb, right?

To download good stuff, if your taste is not common or even strange, you'll need always a bit passion. But who cares about some hours or even days, if the download fit's your cyber fetish? Time is relative. ;-)
