This is amazing cinema, erotic and brutal, sharp and incisive.
After a woman is r***ing, her sexuality and deviant tendencies are awakened as she pursues her r**ist to his ultimate conclusion.
Extremely well shot and directed, the film has a fetid air of menace and repressed sexuality.
Some of the r*** scenes are more sensual than brutal and Hasebe's skill with suggestive imagery is powerful and inspiring.
A good place to start if you're game enough to enter this fascinating, maligned genre.
