Facebook keeps all the information in its data centers, one of which
is located in the far north of Sweden, only 100 kilometers (62,13 miles)
of Arctic Circle, writes The Independent, one of the first one of the first
media that has managed to enter a "store" secret network.

There, where Facebook has registered everything that happens
in the social network.

The temperatures can drop to 40 degrees below zero
in winter (–40° Fahrenheit)

In the Facebook data center located in the mining town of Lulea
in Sweden; Thousands of servers maintain exabytes of information.

"It's the backbone of Facebook in Europe," writes The Independent.

This is home to the European part of two billion of
publications than Facebook has registered worldwide.

The location was chosen because of the abundant supply of
green energy in the form of hydropower, but also because the
"store" they can benefit from the low temperatures in the area
that cool their servers.

It opened in 2013, but double in size over the next three
months inaugurating a new building with thousands
of more servers in actuality.
