I am kind of surprised that Hentai is winning in the poll. I would assume that Hentai would be a niche market within the niche market of Japanese porn.
It probably is. But Akiba Online isn't exactly representative of the human race, either. When it comes "niches within niches", AO definitely fills the role of the pornographic webforum with a heavy focus on hentai and JAV.

It depends on the medium. When it comes to images, I generally prefer hentai, thanks to the greater variety and less limits. When it comes to videos, I prefer live action. It's good to know some one else out there prefers hentai for the stories too... but me I'm pretty much a cartoon freak anyway 80% of what I watch is animated so hentai is just a natral choice for me. Like someone said live acton is too staged it dosent sell the fantasy angle enough.
