Thanks for the feedback Lynx74. I have actually been re-doing all of my subtitles with some better Whisper settings. I have a fairly powerful PC (I9-14900K/Nvidia 4080 Super (16G V-RAM)/96G RAM) I use Faster-Whisper with Large V-3 Model and my settings are tweaked to try to wrestle Whisper into giving me the most accurate translation while trying to minimize hallucinations. The upshot of all of that is that a 2 Hr video takes over an Hour to process so having a fairly fast PC isn't really going to net that much. I have been wrestling with myself about buying a 5090 GPU , which would allow me to parallel process but the cost is insane. That said, I have ejected some videos from this original Subtitle creation, and added perhaps 200 Hundred new title, so they will not be in my new group of .srt's but that said I expect to have them completed in perhaps a couple of Weeks after which I will upload the subtitle files only again.
